Heritage Carousel

Des Moines

The Heritage Carousel of Des Moines is located on Des Moines' East Side in Union Park on Pennsylvania Avenue, overlooking Birdland Marina.

Directions to the Heritage Carousel with construction on I-235:
Eastbound traffic can take the E. 6th/Pennsylvania exit and continue north on Pennsylvania Avenue to Union Park. The Pennsylvania Avenue exit Eastbound should be available mid-summer.
Westbound traffic should take the E. 15th St. exit and travel on the connector road to Pennsylvania Avenue where they will turn right (north) on Pennsylvania avenue to Union Park.

The Carousel is at the top of the hill at the second Union park entrance.
