The Heritage Carousel of Des Moines hosts events throughout the season.
Thank you to the Rollin' Relics Car Club for another successful show! The club is the largest annual contributor to the Heritage Carousel. A record number of entries came to participate on August 24, which was a beautiful day! Lots of people came to look at the cars and enjoy free Carousel rides. Hope you will join us next year!

2008 Cruise to the Carousel Thank you to the Rollin' Relics Car Club for their contribution to the Heritage Carousel. The club hosted their 8th annual 'Cruise to the Carousel' Car Show in August. Each year the proceeds help the Carousel continue to go round'. The club puts in many months of planning and many hours of work organizing, requesting prizes, recruiting participants and sweating to make the show successful! This was the biggest year yet for participants. Thank You! |

Clowns at the Carousel, Tuesday, August 3,

WOW - A big thank you to the individuals, businesses and community organizations that helped put together a TERRIFIC Clowns at the Carousel event on August 3rd! An especially big thank you to Des Moines Metro Credit Union for sponsoring the Carousel rides for the evening and delighting children by handing out LOTS of candy! We were so pleased to have 981 carousel riders that evening in just over 3 hours! Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the evening, it is always nice to see that many smiles in one place!
