Friends Of The Carousel

Help support the goal of the Des Moines Carousel Foundation to maintain and operate this beautiful and authentic Carousel and provide a wholesome, nostalgic and affordable form of entertainment for all to enjoy. Donations received will help with on-going maintenance needs such as the band organ, the building, and painting of both the animals and the Carousel. Click Here For More Information.

Regular Hours
Tuesday through Thursday: Noon to 7:00 PM
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Closed Mondays - Open Mondays only for holidays, private parties and special events.
Open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The carousel may be open additional weekends in May and September. For more information or to schedule an event call 515-323-8200.

(accompanying adults free when standing next to child)
